Default Handle Bar alignment?

I have a issue... my handle bars are canted from left to right.
I bought the bike with carlini beach bars and after a few days I noticed the left side of the bar was not in alignment with the right. My thought was the bars are bent????
So I bought some 10 inch apes....same thing. I don't know if something is bent or out of adjustment.
I dont think the bike has been crashed its to pristine for that....and it tracks straight if you let go of the bars. I am including a pic , maybe you will be able to see what I seeing.
Thanks

To me they don't look that bad

but, you said you put the 10 inch apes on, did you do the change yourself? I'm just wondering if you saw anything outta whack with the risers when you did the swap.

From the picture I do not see it. Are you going by look or by feel?

Have you tried loosening things up and seeing if you can get a little bit of movement to get your bars straight?
If it were me I would loosen the upper and lower clamp bolts a bit. Maybe even loosen the two pinch bolts on the fork stem and bracket assembly so everything can twist a little. Then try and force the bars straight and tighten things up. Looks like you only need a tiny bit of movement

Close one eye like when you first shot a rifle.... You won't notice a thing... Seriously, either the clamps aren't aligned or your forks could be out of whack. I have the same issue on my SG where one side is a half inch off from the other. Bike tracks straight. Figure it's a winter project. Good luck.
ps. Don't look at it. Especially while on the road. :-)

With the beach bars it was a visual thing. With the apes I can feel it. My left arm is extended further than my right.
So I guess I will put the bike on the lift and see if I can adjust it.
I did look at everything when I did the swap this past weekend.

I can see it in your pic. Has to be a riser/ clamp thing. Nothing looked weird when you had the bars off?

Sure your arms are the same length?
Do you have poly bushings or the stock rubber ones? I'm guessing it's in the bushings.

I had that one time when I dropped my Road King. I was able to muscle the bar back into alignment with a twisting motion, as it is, of course, one bar, not right and left bars. Didn't have to loosen anything (a royal PITA on a Road King), and they haven't shifted since.

A Road King can be dropped and twist the bars without any marks being left - I dropped mine in packed sand. Not a scratch, just a twisted bar.
