I would call Mean City Cycles, http://www.meancitycycles.com/ about modifying your seat.
I'm going to eventually send mine in to move me back a couple inches. They get good reviews on this forum. They can't be more expensive than a new seat.

I am going to try some boots that will give me a couple inches and see how that goes.
On the flip side, I don't need to worry about dropping it on the right side. I found out exactly how much clearance the bike has in a turn yesterday (not much) and ground down the feeler on the right floorboard
. Oopsie!

Yeah, I thought I might lose cool points with my terminology but w/e, I'm secure in my manhood and status as a rider. I'll add more fuel to the fire: I don't have a single tattoo, all my shirts have sleeves, I have no clothes with the HD name or emblem, and I wear an aerostich suit when I ride .
