with so many of us using these grips, has anyone else had this problem? the left grip leaves black residue on my palm and fingers when the temperature is between about 65 and 75 degrees. much lower than that, and i am wearing gloves.
i can see where the sweat or oil on my skin has eaten through the rubber's skin coat (the glossy part) and so my hands are resting on the inner part. the throttle side doesn't do it nearly as much and it is weird as i will often ride one handed (right hand only).
it started the first fall i had the bike - Oct/Nov of 07. dealer had no idea if it was a defect or not. i bought the bike in June 07.

I put the Kury Iso grips on my Street Glide after reading so many favorable reviews on the forum. Got to tell you - I wasn't all that impressed. I've already decided I'm not getting them for the Ultra, I'm going to try something different this time around. Just my $0.02

Had them on both bikes, I think everyone i ride with has a set...only complaint is the black stain they leave on the hand. it does eventually go away after about 3 or 4 years.
I also took the throttle boss off, couldn't get it in a comfortable spot and with cruise control I don't really miss it.

Got mine at Sturgis last year. They made those extended rides so much more comfortable than the stock grips.

If I ever buy another bike they'll be one of the first mods to go on it. Great product.

I've used them for about 12 years and when I buy a bike that's one of the first items I install. When on the road I can be assured that while everything else is tired and worn out, my hands won't be. I have them on my SG even though they really don't exactly fit cosmetically, but they'll stay on. I wish they made a black version.
