Handlebars, Seats, Mufflers, Oil - everyone's opinion is whatever they have is best.

If you like the feel of drag bars and pullback risers, go for it. You won't be the first. They sell a replacement cover for the handlebar clamps with holes for risers.

All you need is the Street Slammer kit and you can run ANY pullback risers and drag bars you want.

I had Helibars (multi-axis adjustable bars) installed on my '14 Road King. Took a nice ride to their plant in Maine where they offer free installation. No need to change any cables. I can easily adjust the bars any time I feel the need.

One thing you have to remember is the seat relationship to the riser location on any Harley. All models are different. You might sit on a Softtail with drag bars with the arm and hand relationship feel the same as a Touring bike with 12 inch bars. The frames are all different as are you in relation to all other riders. You just have to experiment and make your choice.

Hated the stock bars on my classic, ended up putting RK custom bars on, the pullback and hand position was just right for me. plus no cable change was needed.

+1 on the street slammer cover, opens endless opportunities for risers. I raised my tank 3" so I added 3" risers and used 13" CycleSmiths bars, 1-1/4 all the way. That will be the last set over fooling with it for 3-4 years. Very comfortable and handling is great.

My steed is an '08 RKC and I went with Wildone 515 bars. There are 10 inch mini apes and I love them. The stock bars were terrible. I can ride up to 700 miles and not have any issues.. My advise is look into Wildones cant go wrong..
