Bags for Baggers

RE: Bags for Baggers
Well, I'm a bit more frugal. On my FLHS (what the RK evolved from), I've got a Rubbermaid ActionPacker that I've attached to a 1/4" piece of plywood with a couple strips of wood screwed to the bottom. The whole thing sits in the rails of the luggage rack. I secure it with three bungee cords. Need more room? And I usually do when two up, I went to the mall and picked up a balistic nylon 'gym' bag. Strap that puppy to the top of theActionPacker with...You guessed it a couple bungee cords. I pack everything into plastic garbage bags for the inevitable rain storm. Never had to put on wet socks. It takes just a couple minutes to remove and bring into the motel room. My hard bags stay locked with the raingear and leathers in them.
Total cost? Probably around $50. Yeah, I know, it ain't 'stylin'...But I don't feel bad about it sitting on the basement shelf either.
