Wow! It's amazing! If it wasn't for the surrounding terrain you would have no idea if this was a Harley event in Australia or Denmark or Panama City Beach Florida! We are truly brothers and sisters of the world!

 

Looks like a great time!

 

Could've been a gathering in Texas as well. Pardon my ignorance of of most things Australian (except the original AC/DC), but wtf is a Wallongong, and where did that name come from?

 

It's an offshoot of the Fallongong Religion in China

 

It's aboriginal. Just take a close look at a map of Australia some time. You get stuff like, Wooloomooloo, Mudgee, Coonabarabran, Warrumbungle. Just to name a few.

Wollongong is a city on coastal Australia, just south of Sydney. As someone has already said I think the name is of aboriginal origin meaning - according to my Google search, "seas of the south".

 

Been to Oz 3 times. I would love to rent a Harley and head out from Sydney.

 

A few have asked where Wollongong is ,,,, here you go..

Usually it is a HOG event only, but this is the first year they opened it up to the pubic ... Turning into a bit of a Daytona type feel .....

I live 5 hours south and as was going to go to have a looksie , but unfortunately I had family commitmnets ....
