Was looking at buying either the Pit or the J&S when I found a Pit Bull with the Turn table for $300 on Craigslist I contacted the seller and drove about an hr each way to pic it up. I have a small garage which makes turning the bike tricky, and now that I have the PitBull, I can't imagine using anything else. The turntable is the biggest selling point for me, specially because my driveway is on a slope, so backing out of it is not an option. I park my truck on the street and the jeep on the driveway which makes it very difficult to turn the bike around. I used to back the bike in from the street into the garage, and had a coupe of close calls. With the PitBull I simply drive head in and turn the bike with the turn table very securely.
I recently restored the bike after being rear ended, and the turn table made it very simple to turn the bike as needed for with light or access.
You can turn the bike with one finger and it is very, very stable. I haven't tried this yet (and I probably won't) but you an raise a dresser with 2 adults on it with out balance issues.
I haven't done this yet, but on a small garage you can find the best spot and mark the position on the floor so you can place the jack on the correct spot and be able able to turn it with out hitting anything.
Now that I own it, I can honestly say that I would have no problem forking out $750 for a new one.

 

Humor me here...

If you drive head in, do you place the jack under the bike on the kick-stand side? Then rotate it 180* on the turntable and lower as 'normal' to have it heading out of the garage?

I also have a Pitbull (minus the turntable) and a J&S, but trying to get a clear picture how you raise/turn/lower.

 

Have to position it right amd have someone assist you. In my case it is usually my son or wife. You are correct, you can't do it on your own when rotated 180 degrees. I have to grind the floor on my garage to be able to rotate the bike by rotating the entire jack. Concrete floor is too uneven.

 

I have had several of the cheaper versions, like Sears, but if you want a safe jack to do maintenance, like removing wheels, buy a J&S Jack.

 

I'm pretty happy with my Craftsman yellow jack. Under $200, and, unlike my previous cheap O'Reily's jack, my Ultra feels stable enough not to cause me any worries.

 

Here I go hijacking the thread. I used the Sear Pro to turn the bike around a lot. Wish it rolled a bit easier but it works.
The Harbor freight dolly also works . It is not prefect but for the $69 it is ok. My granddaughter is going to tech school for welding. She is going to make some changes to it for me. Yes I could do it but I am going to let her play with it .This will be fun
