Recently traded in my 15 SGS for a new 17 Road Glide Special. The stock shield has to go. It's completely useless. Ordered a 12" Stingray from LRS but after reading reviews, it appears that their shields sit higher than what the website indicates. Called them back and decided on an 11" shield instead. Can't seem to find any pics of just how much higher it will stand above the stock shield. Hoping it isn't too much higher as I ordered the dark smoke tint. I'm 6ft tall and it looks like it will be fine but without seeing it on the bike first hand but you never know until it's on already.
