Went to the dealer and explained the situation.
The parts guy went out and looked at my rim.
He said it might be possible to pound it into working order to, but then said to hold on.
He then came out of his office with a take off rim and charged what it would cost to repair the old one.
Dillon Brothers HD, great people!

Thanks to all you guys for keeping me from doing something stupid... there have been other times I could have used your help with that!

Glad to hear you got replacement. I personally wouldn't be comfortable riding on that damaged wheel. Especially since theres only 2 to depend on

When people don't check and maintain the air pressure in their tires each day they ride, bent rims are one of the results.

I have a TPMS on mine and still bent the same rim, and I never run low on air. I run 40 psi in the front now.

Cast aluminum doesn't respond well to being rebent. Buy a new wheel.

Cast aluminum has it's own set of issues without the trama. Replace the wheel.
