Default 2014 SGS New 13" bars problem

So...install new 13" LA choppers bars on my 2014 SGS. Everything went smooth. I started the bike everything worked except for the throttle. So, I took it apart and reinstalled everything...same result. I am not getting any response with the throttle. So, I spend $102 and bought a new rhrottle mechanism. I installed that with no problems, then same thing. Anyone have any advice. I have not been able to ride in 12 days. Please help!

Check the green wire on the plug.... Ask me how I know. I would check both side of the plug.

I switched out the whole thing and purchased a throttle that does not have the green plug. It has wires that run from the throttle to the harness. It was recommended to me by Harley Davidson technician. Still...no throttle response.

Try reversing the wires on the ends of the plug from both the black and yellow wire loom.I had the same problem, but after switchhing it works properly.

sure you checked this, but I'll throw it out anyway; if you move the Throttle gear by hand without the grip on does anything happen? Also, did you get new grips for the new bars? Many do and the new grips could maybe not be TBW compatible.

Just helping brainstorm, apologies if you've already crossed these off the list OP and good luck.

simple problem, simple fix... try pushing the throttle grip in towards the switch housing to engage the teeth of the grip onto the throttle tube.
