I rode it yesterday, it was cold (48 degrees) when the sun gets low. Enjoy!!

Have fun. I am 4hrs south of Front Royal in Roanoke Va. Getting chilly at night so bring a good jacket.

Have a safe and fun trip, and post some pictures. I did a similar ride this May, but started from CT to Front Royal. We got on skyline drive before 8am , and the toll booths were closed, so it was free. (this was by chance, not planned)
