is that bracket needed with the AN Big Sucka????

 

You will need to made a gasket when you install the cross brace bracket. My kit did not come with a gasket. This metal to metal joint needs a gasket or you will have oil seeping out of the joint, down the fins of the rear jug, and onto your pipes. I learned this the hard way, and the oil was a bear to get off the pipes. To sell this kit without a gasket is poor engineering.
