im putting some enforcer wheels on my road glide and was wondering if anyone has polished their rotors and if so how is it done. I don't want to pay $110 to have someone do it for me.

i watched this video and few others but they don't polish the contact surface. Can you polish contact surface

 

Yes you can. I had mine done through ***** shiny. But you have to remember you will be squeezing brake pads on the surface. It still looks good, but it doesn't stay mirror polished.

 

The contact surface as in where it's bolted to the wheel or where the caliper/ pads contact it?
Are u trying to remove imperfections ie bad grooves?

Here's how mine look after a few thousand miles of riding.

 

You can but they're rotors. With brake pads running all over the surface. So what do you expect?
