Default what color is the background on your GPS

On my 2015 Limited GPS the background is Gray the secondary streets are white, dirt roads are black. It is very hard to see white roads on a Gray background. The black shows up fine. Is there a way to change this? If it is not possible to change the street colors is it possible to change the background color from gray to green or something darker so the white shows up better? Now this may sound strange but this past weekend I rode with a guy and his background color of the GPS was green and you could see the roads fine, everyone else's was gray like mine. He said his was green from day one. I am not talking about the background colors that you can change on the radio this is in GPS.

Isn't your route highlighted in red?

You can hold the info button down & it will change the contrast, might make it easier for you, just a matter of preference I suppose but I always run my screen in what I believe the infotainment calls "high contrast".

Yes I do. Once off route I am no longer using the GPS. With that said, I was only asking if route is highlighted red as I wasn't sure if there was a malfunction since I've never seen a gray background before.

high contrast doesn't change the screen background color just the things around it, doesn't make any difference in seeing it

then what color is your background? Every one I have seen except one was gray with white secondary streets, the one odd one was green with white streets and he said it was like that from day one. I want mine like that it is much easier to see.

I just went to look at my GPS and it has a green background with the roads in white. Never really paid attention before but I have never had trouble seeing it. There has got to be a way to change the colors since some are different. I have never tried to change mine.
