RE: Police Trade-In's
No problems with mine other than if you look very close it has been obliviously down ( right side floorboard mount scraped up, saddle bag a diff color inside ) But that was over 10.000 miles ago with no problem's also remember all police bikes are not the same colors I have seen black green white blue or even diamond ice like mine all factory paint. If you are a solo rider just change the fluids and hit the road if you are a 2 up rider then either add a 2up seat or mustang makes a matching passenger seat for the stock air ride . add rear floorboards and a back rest. Harley recommends changing the tires which is a good idea if nothing but comfort

I purchased an '04 police model EG in Feb. '05 that had been leased to a motor escort business and it's been a great bike for 40K miles so far.
You will get the balance of the MOCO factory 2-year warranty. Most are birch white or black, although they are also available intwo black and white paint schemes.
Incidentally, brand new the police bikes sell for about $13,750, so dealers taking them back from lease or departments selling them have relatively low cost in the bike compared to anEG Standard or Classic.

I love mine, it's a 04 painted Harley Yellow. wow.. that's yellow. It had less than 1k on it when I got it. It has never left me stranded. It never leaves a love spot on the carport. I loved the PT tires but can't get them anymore for legal reasons.
A couple of things missing if you start looking at the differences, no radio, no cruise other than the manual which to me is a Hell no option. I added stage one and a set of true duals and she makes me as happy today as the day I got her.
One really nice option that I like, the hockey puck saddle bags, which I can open from my seat while stopped and get what ever I need with out getting off the bike one handed.
I never get the feeling of "I wish I had gotten X". Mine is mine and get yours and make it your own.
