Yup, same problem I had ' 10 RK and hitting the starter quickly when hot cured mine. Learned it on this forum. Worth a try, nothing to lose. Good luck

I've never understood why folks wait for the light to go out anyway. You don't do it on your vehicles. The bike is no different and it works every time.

This is an important point as the battery terminal connections may be fine a bad frame ground would be the same as a bad terminal connection. With the ageof the bike i would at least dissconect that and clean the terminal and the frame even if the battery was found to be suspect.

I have a similar problem as you. For instance when I commute to work and shut the bike off while I open the yard gate it struggles to turn over. Now for any short periods when the bike is hot I will leave it running. getting fuel seams to be ok because it takes a bit more time before I restart it.

^^^^ THIS!! I had hard cold and hot starts so bad I was considering selling my 07 Street Glide. Someone on here posted to turn the ignition and fire it off immediately disregarding the engine light. Since I've been doing this I've had no issues.

If the battery is the original in your 2007, IMO I think you are on borrowed time with that battery.

My 07 Ultra Classic grounds to the frame in the compartment in front of the battery. There are two frame grounds there.
The easiest way to find the frame ground is to follow the black ground wire away from the battery until it attaches to the frame my it doesn't go far.
