I went several years ago. Had a good time at Boot Hill on Main. Enjoyed riding along the coast on A1A to St. Augustine. Several biker friendly bars along the way. Beautiful town. Not a great ride but you're not to far from Kennedy Space Center if you are into that. Bunch of vendors at the Speedway and around the Indian dealership.

Don't know where you are from...but Main Street has bands/bars/cruising (slowly). Iron Horse saloon on Hwy US 1 (Just south of Rossmeyer Harley) has bands, bars, endless people watching, Rossmeyers Harley has bands, venders, bars...
International Speedway has venders, bars, test rides. If you want to ride, Take Hwy A1A north to St. Augustine, of A1A south to the Kennedy Space Center/Cocoa Beach area. Take Hwy 40 and it takes you out west to silver springs/Ocala area. Nice roads are all around if you get tired or bands/bars.

Thank you all for the great replies.

If your from the Cape and have a good time at Biketoberfest you'll be itching to get out of New England to come in March for Bike Week. Ride "The Loop" through the Tomoka State Park off of A1A. Try and make it south to the Ponce de Leon lighthouse a few miles south of Daytona. Main St is a great place to check out bikes, people, bands and have a few cold ones.

I agree with what everyone else has suggested and also the Beaver Bar, great fried bologna sandwich. I can't remember how to get there but there is a place called Cabbage Patch, I'm sure you could google it, a little different from the norm, (think girls coleslaw wrestling), haha, nice little ride there also. We usually do all our riding during the day, park the bikes and walk to Main Street and hit all the bars. Hopefully this damn hurricane won't ef things up. We're leaving Sunday so we can have the whole week, can't wait!!! You'll have a blast!!!

I have a cousin that lives in Orlando. She said current forecast put Matthew hugging the coast at cat 3-4 just 20 miles offshore. This will bring nearly full force hurricane winds and rain even all the way to Orlando. This does not sound good for the Daytona area. Best wait and see what happens before getting too deep with your plans. Stores are picked clean already. Who knows how bad the damage and flooding might be? Terrible timing as far as the rally goes.

Go and see David Allan Coe at The Iron Horse Saloon - that's definitely something to see. Ride The Loop - it's a beautiful ride. Go and see The Razorbacks at The Bank on Main Street. Watch the sunrise over the beach. Enjoy perfect weather.
