Default 2014 Road King W/16" gangster apes help

I have decided to go with 16" Carlini Gangster Apes 1.5" and I had a few Questions. Carlini sells the 1.5" riser clamp but does anyone else make one less expensive. i'm already going to pony up $350 on the bars now I have to shell out an extra $150 for clamps?? I'm just trying to save a little here and there. While we are on the subject what cables and wire extensions do you guys reccomend. Carlini sells stainless cables but I think the chromite II cables are nicer looking arent they? also looking for easiest wire extensions.

So in short I am looking for:

1.5" riser clamps
Chromite cables
Easiest Wire extenders

Thanks Guys...

i went with namz extensions, they were easy.

i used magnum brake and hydraulic clutch lines.

i didn't go with carlin but another vendor that reduced
the clamp area down to 1 1/4 or 1

With the Namz did you still have to solder?

+1 on the Namz, I used their plug and play extensions on an ape install I did on my Fatboy and it was super easy. No soldering required.

When I did the install, I installed 16" 1.5" diameter Gangsters as well and I bought the Barnett lines that they sell as a package. I later found out that Barnett cables are made by Goodridge and in all honesty I had issues with the quality of the cables. I'd stay with the Chromites.

I think the riser clamps look dumb. I bought the right sized gangster apes and used the stock mounting hardware (aside from the bushings).

But you would never see the 1.5" riser clamps under the stock nacelle right?

I'm not sure they'd fit.

There was no need to solder any of the wires on either side? How hard was it to fish the connector through the bars?

you use the plug and play extensions, you heat shrink the connections then you can re sheath the wires or use other types of sheathing. once the wires go in the bars, its more pushing vs pulling.

i did the 1.5 factory 47 malos in less than 3 hours on a road glide and did a set of yaffee monkey bars 1.25 by 14 ilas well no trouble. its tedious not tough. take your time.
