Other than occasionally sitting on the bike and crying, leave it alone.
Reminds me of the old Kawasaki commercial where the guys in the garage on his bike with his helmet on making "zooming" noises and his wife walks in looking at him like he's nuts
The only precaution I would add is to consider the location the bike will be stored. If mice can access the area, they will setup a "nest" under the bike's cover. Their urine and feces will be harmful to the metal and fabric. They can also chew through wires.

the electronic ones work very well i had mice in my garage and they no longer are a problem... i use the the tomcat for places without electricty.
