2010 Ultra Classic worth?
I have a buddy that has a 2010 ultra classic, blue and white with all the toys. He wants a heritage springer and the local stealer wont even give him an idea of what it is worth. He has bought three bikes from these guys. 21k Km on it. What is a fair price he can ask privately and what could he expect on a trade in new and or used? Up here in Ontario Canada.

Suggestion, take 5 mins to go online and look up NADA & KBB book valves on your bud's bike which is a good place to start.
Then also look in local advertisements (Craigs list?) to see what bikes of same yr & model are going for locally too and you will have the ans for what bikes like your buds are going for in your area which is key.
And NADA & KBB as for zip code when your looking up value to take into acct the area the vehicle is being bought or sold in.
Doing the above will give you a better idea of what his bike is worth in the area your in vs asking us here that are located all over the USA.
JMHO & $.02.

CDN prices are interesting in that Trev Deeley no longer controls everything- back in 2010 your Pal would have paid a real premium compared to US pricing ( I shopped an Ultra in 2010 and was looking at under $20K USD with a 103 power pac upgrade).
As above, check kijiji and the online sites for comparisions
The dealer is unlikely to care much about anything more than 5 years old, so your pal's best bet for a fair deal is the private market....but it is the end of the season- a bad time to sell

I find it odd, the dealer won't give him a price, there has to be a starting point to negotiate, that's why they are in business. Actually, the owner of the bike should have a figure in his head if he's purchased 3 bikes. There's lots of sites to scan for pricing, actually Auto Trader (bike section) you can put that into a query there.
