Default I'm sorry, what did you ask me?

While on lunch, had a strange (to me) conversation with a passerby. I'm sitting down and eating my lunch outside the cafe I stopped at, and a guy comes up to me. Here is the conversation he started:

HIM: Is that your Harley?
ME: Yes, it is. (2013 Street Glide, for reference)
HIM: Tell me, is that considered the flat top?
ME: Uh...I have no idea what you're asking.
HIM:Oh, ok. (walks away)

Am I missing something here?

YOU: What did you mean by Flat top?

Since that didn't happen we will never know......

Maybe he watched the recent Harley and the Davidson's series and meant to ask you if it was a Flathead?

He wanted to sex you but didn't know any Harley speak. Freaked and left.

Back home he's saying to himself, "Is that considered a Flat Top???? Oh man.... I'm so stupid!!!!! So, so Stupid!!!!!"

Lol, I mean, I did say "I have no idea what you're asking" in the most inquisitive and curious tone. I guess he didn't infer it that way though, and instead of explaining what he meant, he just walked away, haha.

I was friendly enough with him, I guess he just didn't care to stick around. I guess saying something like, "I am not sure what you mean by that, can you explain?" or "What do you mean by flat top" would have solicited further banter with the poor fellow.

There is a flat top windshield for the street glide. That might have been what he was asking about.
