I renewed my HD Extended Warranty last year. The price was the same at 4 different HD dealers I checked, right in line with the MoCo price sheet. I compared the Cornerstone policy for my '11, only a 2 year plan was available, less $$$ than the 2 year HD Extended Warranty. BUT - when you go longer term with the HD, the game changes. I was able to go 5 years with HD for less than 2 - 2 year terms with Cornerstone at current rates, and you know the second term rate will be more when it comes due. If you plan to keep the bike, consider that too. The difference between the 4 year and 5 year HD was only about $300.00. If you get rid of your bike during the policy, they pro rate a return to you, also.
Examine them carefully, react accordingly.
With HD, if your plan you have now expires before you renew they may wish to check your bike over, but not if you renew on the last day of coverage or before, BTW.
I renewed mine on the very last day.

I just maxed out mine with my 10K service and kind of wish I hadn't with all the EPA nonsense that just came down. My bike has Stage 1 with SE Pro Super Tuner, and I don't think anybody really knows what the MoCo will do with these warranty claims.
Pretty clear what they'll do with 2017's though.

as mentioned earlier, the prices are pretty much set and no negotiation. additionally, one of my area dealers wouldn't touch it because i didn't buy it from them....which is crazy. anyway, i contacted jim palmer and i got one through cornerstone. works for me and my 2013 flhtk.
I've wondered about this myself. My dealer shows that I pay 50.00 at this particular dealership for ESP work, or 100.00 at any another dealer for the same work. But as others have said, it is a pretty set price.

should be a $50 deductible at any harley dealer, and $100 at an indy, or other non-hd shop
