An uncommon look

Looks good. The color reminds me of the Kawasaki green they had last year.

Going with the cut down look, have you ever looked into forward controls and losing the boards. I strip down my RK in the summer and thinking about removing the engine guard/highway pegs and going with forward controls. But keeping the floorboards to put back on in the winter.

Thanks man, they are coffin cut hand guards from jd customs and fabrication. They work great for wind and rain protection. Worth every penny and really cool guys to deal with.

I thing you've done an outstanding job so far. I think the painted (to match) fairing lower would help set it off and a set of CVO style lower saddle bags would finish it off. The straight stretched bags don't follow the lines of the bike to me.
I've got a lot I'd like to do to my bike. but, while people up north are putting their bike's to bed for the winter this is prime riding time in South East Texas.
I've inquired several time at the HD Dealer about ordering a bike with no emblems and not pin strips and the answer is always no.
I do consider my bike somewhat special, first year of the Rushmore FLTRU and the last year of the Twin Cam.
