Last set-up sounded pretty good, raspy but did not feel like I needed ear plugs.
Back in the shop....installed a fully wrapped 2" new style in the left, then found my 2.5" from my original SB2 set-up. Installed that baffle in the right,(only wrapped on the far end as there is no holes in the head pipe end. Way too loud sounded like a straight pipe with the SB2 2.5". Took it out and installed the 2 1/4" on the right, with only the far end wrapped.......louder than it was with both sections wrapped but it really didn't seem to bother my ears too much. Perhaps with the baffles being of two different sizes they seems as though they don't drone nearly as loud as the pipes do with both baffles are the same??????
Going to run this set up for a few hundred miles and see how I like it. I can simply pull the right 2 1/4" out and warp the forward end if I feel it's too loud for me.
Picture of the SB2 2.5" baffle attached.
Thinking that I'd like to try a regular 2.5" as greggillette mentioned he is running. Don't have one at this point so I'll keep messing with what I have.
(maybe I should drill a bunch of holes in that sucker?)

That looks nothing like my 2.5" baffle. My front length was shorter and perforated and unwrapped. Rush must have really played with different designs. My new 2" baffles are that long but again that front section is perforated also but wrapped.

Yea the SB2 baffles are funky!
It might rain tomorrow, thinking of drilling the snot out of the 2.5", just for grins. I'm never going to use it anyway.......why not give it a try!

Just cut that entire section off...its what I did but I like it on the louder side.
