Just went from a 07 FXDC to a 2016 King myself and what a difference in bike, test rode a streetglide but to be honest I always have liked the King with the removable screen and if i want all the radio , tuner navi and cr@p i can put a smartphone mount on.
I have cruise control, the big lights, the classic look and a removable screen somthing the batwings will never match. Its the King for a reason.

Did the King stay with the cable clutch for 2017 or go w/ hydraulic?

Hydraulic clutch for '17.

And the laced wheels/whitewalls are not listed as a factory option now.
