Default Cam'd gas mileage?

Just installed tts100 in my 103 and dynoed. Runs great.. Went on a trip and got at most 190 miles on one tank. That comes out to a little more than 30 mlg. Note that it was two up, fully loaded bags and large saddle man luggage...pushing some pretty good wind @ 75 mph cruise...

Is this terrible gas mileage?

Looks good to me. Especially based on your load. I have SE255, 103 and two up, loaded and doing 75-80, I get about 34mpg. That's at about 2,800-3k rpm

I averaged 42 mpg with my 120r engine with crane 600 cams these are imperial gallons though. I corrects to 36 mpg that's with me and my luggage On my 14 street glide running 65-75 mph

My motor is a 103 on my 09 FLHP with a stage 1. In May I had 259e cam installed with a dyno. I love the way it rides however my city MPG dropped from 32 to about 26. Prior to the cam install my touring MPG was about 37. I have yet to get out touring so I am definitely looking to seeing what that MPG turns out to be.

I had a dyno tune after I did cams, and I suspect mpg is as much a result of the tune as it is the cam. My bike smells rich and gets 32 mpg or so, but it runs well and doesn't pop on decel, so I just live with it.

It's the headwind that did for you IMHO. On another day with a more friendly wind your mileage should improve quite a bit. Nothing to get worried about.

Another consideration is simply that with your new-found performance you probably made good use of it! That is quite natural, but if you had ridden in a similar way to before, your mileage should have been little changed.

'14 limited woods 777 cams. I was overloaded (per HD) 2 up bags crammed, 91°+, 75 to 80 mph, on shitty southern gas, but I didn't drop below 36 mpg. I really thought 36 mpg was horrible and if it was any lower I'd be looking at retuning.

I run the 57h cams and have been Dyno tuned as well. My tuner sent me out the door with two tunes. The performance tune yields me 36mpg pretty consistently 2up running 75-80mph. I've reflashed the bike to the more conservative tune mid trip before and I pick up 2-4mpg. So 38-40 mpg depending on conditions. I rarely run the higher mileage tune so it odviously isn't that big of a deal.
