Sundowner seat, passenger perspectiv

Default Sundowner seat, passenger perspectiv
I see a lot of favorable posts about the Harley Sundowner as it relates to the driver. My wife though has a boney butt and I was wondering what the wives/girlfriends think of the Sundowner as a passenger seat. This would be for my 02 RKC.

Hi Gary, Big John here. Just bought a 2006 RKC and put a sundowner on it first thing. Wife loves it. She to has BBS, 'boney butt syndrom'. Compared to the Wide Glide I just sold, she can ride for hours on the sundowner. Get one, you'll both be happy.

I have the Mustang solo and the 13.5" passenger pillion and although the wife's rump is FAR from boney she really like sit a LOT over the stock seat.

My wife is the reason I have a Sundowner on my RKC. She loves it.

Wife said it was a lot more comfy than the stock seat on my RK.

I've got the Sundowner as well. we did a 700 mile trip this past weekend to Michigan and back. My wife loves the seat. However, at about the 650 mile mark she was ready to take an extended break. I believe it was from the long ride rather than the seat.

I put on the Sundowner after one ride on the stock ****, My wife has only riden a couple of times but says it is MUCH better I too think the drivers side is MUCH beter. Good seat.

My wife and I just did a ten hour ride with the Sundowner on our 06 Road KIng......she loved it!

The foam used on all the Sundowners is somewhat firmer than the stock seats.
That (along with improved shaping), makes them more comfortable for many riders.
My FLHTC passenger loves the Sundowner!

i also love the seat but the reason for the sundowner is for the wife, she loves it. we put 1500 miles on it this summer on a denver to vegas trip, she had no complaints
