ORIGINAL: harris48cars

I see a lot of favorable posts about the Harley Sundowner as it relates to the driver. My wife though has a boney butt and I was wondering what the wives/girlfriends think of the Sundowner as a passenger seat. This would be for my 02 RKC.
Thanks,
Gary
I'm in the market to replace the OEM seat on my 96 convertible. The Sundowner is offered for my ride. From the replies you've received it looks like something to seriously consider. Does the product move the driver higher and/or forward?
Thanks,

Just got a good deal on one off of ebay was $250 including shipping. I might have been able to get it cheaper but decided on the buy it now price. There are a ton of them for the roadkings on ebay and while they would fit my bike I would have to add a piece on the end of my consol for $25 and I didn't care for the look of that. Hopefully I'll have it in time for biketoberfest and I can offer a better review after that.

Okay, so the question is how you got your photo loaded in the space -- and with such high quality? I tried to load a photo a couple times, but was told "too big for the file."

Suggestions?

TIA.

The seat places the rider 1" higher and 3/4" back compared to the miserable stock seat. At first, it seems you sit on top of the bike, but the comfort level is so much better that it doesn't matter.

I believe the seat can be had at Chicago Harley and others for $260 + shipping.
