Just got in from riding both and here are my initial thoughts...

Power is very noticeable... Pulls way harder than my 16 SGS w a stage one. Very impressive. The transmission was as smooth as butter compared to mine. No clunking into first. Oddly neutral was harder to get into. The heat was completely gone. Suspension seemed solid but not a huge difference. The new saddle bag latches are awesome and I hope to get them for my ride. Counterbalance was very smooth... Very little vibration. Exhaust note was weak unfortunately.

I'm not pulling the trigger for a few reasons... No aftermarket support yet. They offered me a stage 2 for around 27 but only w Harley slip ons.. And I still love my SGS.

The hot rod red is amazing in person.

Maybe in a year or two I'll revisit the idea once the motor has been out for awhile and other companies get up to speed.

 

Oh oh....nothing but great reviews from Rushmore folks.....I'm past due.....New or a used Rushmore someone dying to dump???? Search mode continues.

 

There are tons of deals to be had if you negotiate hard - just got back from my HD dealer to schedule my next service - spoke to a sales rep friend of mine who told me sales are down nationwide - he said he is sold 18 fewer bikes this year then his previous slowest year & he is the top salesman for the dealer.
He just gave notice and plans to sell cars now as he can't make a living selling HD's anymore...
