Beat to death - Good Compensator for higher HP Bikes?
#21
My basket exploded too, but not nearly as bad as yours...same thing happened to my father-in laws bagger (not to your extent either), except he is running a Bandit. I think the basket thing can happen to any higher HP, hot rodder bike.
He and I both replaced our baskets w/ the Evolution Industries setup.

Oh I'm very familiar with the Hayden, as this is my fourth bike with one. The springs do indeed let the chain adjust as it changes temp, and move through it's tighter and looser sections. It's design actually allows is to keep a more proper tension throughout all the variables much more than any manual tensioner could hope to. And as three of the four bikes I've had one on were hotrods and with the four bikes it successfully logged over 600k in my ownership, I reckon it's a pretty good piece of equipment.
