LA traffic on a holiday weekend...... Riding is 1 thing but stop n go traffic for hours on end is another

 

I get almost 1/3 the mileage in the truck but i would I have to take it. The bike seat doesn't seem to matter, dropping statin's seemed to help, but I still can't ride a long day. Now if I had the option of days off without pay I would take 3 wheels instead of 6 and be gone a week, just try that with Honeywell !

 

Taking into consideration the hail we have been getting, I will more than likely take the car. But part of me says Ultra. Most of my riding would be at night, so that concerns me as well. Now if I had someone else riding with me & during the day, I would ride. All in all, all of you have helped out on my decision. Thanks

Leaving earlier than expected. Sister is getting better, but work is slow so I decided to make it a longer weekend. Taking the car, foggy here this morning. That scares me more than anything on a bike (I hate fog). If I was going with some one, I would do it but by myself with the fog I will pass. Hope everyone gets a safe ride this weekend.

Trip went well, in the car. It was foggy til about Colby Kansas, so I knew I made the right decision. Started wishing I had the bike after that, but glad I took the car. Thanks for all the input. Maybe try a shorter trip to see how I do.
