Not trying to take sides here, but like it or not, several people are convinced that global warming is an issue that man created and can now fix. All combustion engine manufactures are being controlled by the EPA. It's a guarantee that the next generation HD, will be equipped with a catalyst. Yes MOCO has been forced to change, but so have most of us. In my opinion the real issue is that all manufactures have to spend the majority of their money on advanced engineering to meet the EPA mandates, and have less to spend on reliability and endurance. I'm not saying HD is going away, because the EPA will agree to put squeeze on the aftermarket industry so HD can make up some of the lost money on the back side, such as performance parts.
