I'm not knocking the M8 - it IS an improvement. I just didn't find it as night and day as some.

I would have to agree, just based on a test ride. I had the new bike up to 115mph and it was still pulling hard. I did not even realize I was going so fast and slowed down right away. The mod I would do is for better (louder) pipes. But no other mods, probably not even a tune. That way I can spend money on chrome or paint that I like. Instead of $1,000's to get the performance where I want it. I hope the motors are reliable.

Yeah I don't think anyone is riding Harleys cause they're cheap. And the added torque of the M8 is only the beginning on how this bike is better than the TC.
I knew when I rode one two days after release I wanted one. I wanted one bad. But I also new that dealers would be marking down twin cams to move them. The thought of a 110" TC for less than my M8 cost me was tempting for a minute or two. But there would be much more that I'd be giving up. Much, much smoother. Much better handling. I'm glad I didn't worry about the added expense.

Is there a dealer selling a previous model new CVO for less than a new model base 107 M8?? That seems hard to believe....

That was what I was thinking, if I can get 16 RG CVO cheaper than a 17 RG Ultra.........Tell me where PLEASE!

Stock calibration has several tables that govern vehicle speed including fuel cut & throttle disable which come into play at about 107 MPH, regardless of gear.
