The suspension on my king is already upgraded, but the suspension on the 17 I rode is so much better. And the engine... While not as strong as my king, it's the strongest stock harley I've ridden. My only bitch is the clutch isn't as predictable as what I have and takes some serious getting used to. All in all, loved the 17 I tested.

Thanks to FM/Jamie for the information... Keep up the great work.
I've spent a fair amount of time on our 17 M8 Road Glide now and have a few things to note that are different than our 15 Road Glide. First and foremost is there is very little driveline lash which is a much welcomed improvement, the notable clunking of the 2007-2016 bikes and their assorted compensators is gone, well done H-D. There are also some improvement suspension wise, it is simply feels more compliant and a noticable improvement is the way the bike turns in when the road surface is less than perfect. I cant say anyhing great about the rear shocks as they still have the traditional snap/bottoming, especially on sharp bumps but admittedly i havent spent much time trying various adjustments and my daily driver has a well dialed Ohlins setup. Engine wise it feels nice and punchy stock and even better with our PV stock improved tune, everyone that rode the bike could notice the difference post tune as well. Slip on mufflers helped pick up measurable HP and even more Tq, the gains were pretty much on par with the same mods on Rushmore bikes (Ill post dyno charts tomorrow). Air cleaner wise we have some pretty cool stuff going on, however we are not ready to let the cat out of the bag there yet, same goes with some of the other stuff we are working on right now. We'll be sure to post more info and dyno charts when the time is right. I'm also going to have Bob M. one of our FM product specialists write up a review. He's spent some time on the bike and has a ton of HD experience working in dealers since the 90's.

You indicated that you are a DJ technical partner and have already developed calibrations for the M8. Post up the dyno sheets for those calibrations that you developed.

See what I mean by not dramatizing.
So Fuel Moto answers to you? TTS Mastertune is light years ahead...?

Pass whatever you're smoking. It's not cool to bogart the good shizzle.

Jamie, thank you for posting all this great information that you DON'T HAVE TO POST.

SORRY after all of these years of you doing this and us loving it and eating it up, some guy, some nobody, has to come on here and be a jackass...

As usual your professionalism exceeds those around you, and that's just one more reason we keep coming back.

Sorry if this has been covered, but is the crank design the same as that in the Twin Cam that caused all of the complaints early on with the crank run out? I know that turned out to not really be an issue (unless maybe you were trying to convert to gear drive), but just curious.

Thanks.
