Those guys at TTS posted some really good numbers with their tune on the 107 to 114 stage 3 conversion.

Wondering why we haven't seen any thing like that from DJ.

I talked to Mark out at DJ just a couple days ago. He said they have only had the bikes about 2 weeks and cals should be ready in about 60 days or so. He hoped.

Probably at a stopping point until DJ gets their calibrations ready for testing.

subscribed.

The whine must be that the counterbalance is gear driven.

My warmed over 103 has 90 horse and 110 torque. So, what I see is POTENTIAL.

985 miles on mine now and still haven't noticed any whine sound coming from it. Maybe those folks have super hearing...

FM works hand in hand with DJ. They supply DJ with many of their download tunes....

I rode my sons and never noticed the whine while on the bike but when I pulled along side him on my bike while riding it was very noticeable. Even having short shots on my bike!

Supplying tunes for different mufflers is one thing. Coming up with the base calibrations that all these calibrations come from is a completely different story.

Plenty of tuners out there can come up with a calibration based on that companies starter cal. Tune it for the configuration, and give it to the tuner manufacture for them to use. Ask me how I know.

This is a bit different than actually creating starter calibrations with things like TM and speed limiter addressed in the code. Somebody that does have access to the code doesn't unplug speed sensors. They address it in the code.

Yeah, I'm surprised there has not been more information provided by DJ. I can understand FM fooling around with the Indian until DJ provides them a tuner for the new motor. I think they are just an end user retailer of the DJ product.

It looks like those folks over at TTS are light years ahead of them with their product development and tuning the new motor.

I stand corrected....

I was under the impression that FM and DJ worked closely doing just that.

I took a class at DJ in Vegas several years ago. The instructor made it sound like FM was a close ally in setting up the PowerVision tunes.

I'm far from an expert on these things, I probably just misunderstood.
