That's what I did on my SGS. No way I was gonna foot the bill for another spun crank.

Here's a picture of the 2017 ECM which is located directly underneath the seat. You will see many external similarities to the ECM present in the 2014-2016 Touring models however as you would expect there are many internal changes. The Dynojet Power Vision PV-2 will be able connect to the same 6-PIN data / diagnostic connector located underneath the left hand side cover and shortly with a software update will be able to tune the 2017 ECM as well!

I "seat dynoed" my new 2017 SGS for 100 miles today. If you don't want a smooth riding Harley with lots of on tap torque stock, do NOT buy one of the new ones. I happen to think it's amazing overall so far

Nice! I know they're completely different types of bikes, but how's the acceleration compare to the Lowrider S?

Apples to oranges the Dyna weighs 200 pounds less. But I can tell you a softail S tried to get away from me on the 107 and I stayed with him and decided not to pass him since I felt 115 indicated was probably enough.

Hard to compare my Dyna S with a tuned 117 kit to my SGS with a stock 107 for sure. I can tell you I've had 4 Rushmore bikes now and this one is all around better power and ride quality as it sits. My Dyna S is a freakin missle I would never expect that heavier bike with a box stock 107 to accelerate like my Dyna

I strongly suspect that could happen. I usually had a Stage one kit ready in the garage when I brought a new bike home. I doubt I'll even put one in this new one.
