Exclamation Help with wiring colors tbw 2015 ultra limited

My green connector broke while pulling the wires, so now I am going to solder them back together. Problem is I don't know which wires connect to where. I googled and found nothing.

I think the wiring may be different on 2014 and Up

Any help would be appreciated!

right now I am wired at:

BLACK SIDE

white to blue
black to black
red to brown

yellow side

black to gray
white to purple
red to red

throwing 8 different codes, check engine light, and no throttle

soldered joints do not hold up well on vehicles, you'd be better off to use crimps

when soldered, the wire strands flex where the tinning ends ( right by the insulation) this flexing will cause the wires to break- not tomorrow or next week but somewhere down the road

I somewhat agree that if you can do without soldering wires, then do so. However, if the wires you need to solder are just laying in the handlebars or along the frame under the tank, I don't see an issue with that, as long as you know how to solder properly.

Any chance you still have the connector somewhat in tact to plug it in to see which wire went where? I have the same color code as you. The new style sensors did away with that little green connector because a lot of people had issues with that green connector as a failure point.

Blue Wire------(Black Side) White Wire

Brown Wire----(Black Side) Red Wire

Black Wire-----(Black Side) Black Wire

Grey Wire-----(Yellow Side) Black Wire

Red Wire------(Yellow Side) Red Wire

Purple Wire----(Yellow Side) White Wire

https://www.shop.harley-davidson-ros...s/56032-08.pdf Try this link first. Page 2 and 6. You may have damaged the sensor or the wiring while removing it from the handlebars. Worst case is you're out $100 for a new grip sensor. Unless, you have a different issue. You would normally throw 3 codes if your grip sensor was not working properly. What codes do you have right now?

P1510 - Throttle actuator control limited performance
P2127 - Twist grip position sensor low/open
P2138 - Twist grip position sensor correlation error
