Turning wrenches on the FLHTK myself from now on...
Took my 2014 Ultra Limited in to get open headers, high flow intake and 16" apes to Lone Star Harley Davidson - Tyler, TX about 3 weeks ago. Very disappointed in their service as well as their reaction to their poor service. Service Manager answer to all these issues was "I'll talk to the tech".
First, the apes were back ordered till Sept 9th. The parts guy (who I really enjoy talking to by the way) was available to order a different set and get them in sooner but the service guys didn't even think to offer that (even thought the parts guy told them he could).
Next, my gas tank is scratched. I mean, damn man, don't freaking scratch my bike then tell me it was already there. It wasn't. I know every scratch and scuff on that bike. To make matters worse, I walked the bike with the guy before they started working on it. There were no mention of scratches on that paperwork. Magically the term "scratches" showed up on the paper work a day after I picked it up.
Next, I'll just let you view the video and pics. Absolutely amazing work here.
Here is a vid of the exhaust issue.
Here is a vid of a freaking Snap-on socket still on the hose clamps. (don't know how that made it home but it did).
