Went to the Dealer with the wife today to pick up the title to the new (er) ride. She asked if I wanted anything...shocked the hell out of me. Handed me $120.00 and said enjoy yourself!!
Only after I spent the $$, did she tell me that her job was terminated[:@]

RE: honey come look
My hubby is a big boy. He knows what he makes, he knows what I make, and he knows what bills we have. As long as the bills are paid, which we both do, he can buy (and does) anything he wants for the bike. And if he needs help (I have little hands) all he has to do is hollar. Cuz sometimes he's working on his, and sometimes he's working on mine. And if I see him working on one of them, I always volunteer to help. So what if I get my hands dirty, thats what soap is for. And my hands are tough....I had a transmission fall on one while up under a classic Mustang.....yep...I'll do about anything!!!

You guys are killing me! I just read these out loud and me and my wife just laughed and laughed. Gman, your reply just was too much! To those of you who have a wife that loves it as much as you do, I say Praise the Lord and thank God for wives that put up with the hardships of the road for those special moments together when the pieces all come together - you all know about those moments when the road, the scenery, the evening sun, and the cool air almost bring a tear to your eye and make every penny (spent with or without her knowledge!) worth it all.
I am so thankful for my wife and for her love for our Harley She's never said "no" to a purchase, including chrome controls when we bought it. I told her it was like a $700 option installed, and she said "if we don't put it on now, will you ever put them on for that price?" She was right!
But in the end, I'd ride alone if I had to. I love it too much to give it up. And like AtkWRC, we ain't wealthy either, just blessed.
Ride safe, guys... alone or with your sweethearts!

I love it when the Wife shares the road with Me.We always take at least one week long ride every year together and We both look forward to it.Kyla (My Wife) loves it as much or more than I do.She got Her own bike last October and she spent allot of time learning how to add chrome and do little things to her bike and loved doing so.As of lately,She's decided that she prefers being a passenger so the Street Bob is for sale.I'm in no hurry to sale it so I'm asking to much for it in case she decides to ride again. If not and it don't sale,I'll ride the hell out of it.
Here's the Woman that loves Harleys (Kyla).
