If you have the stage 2 and can't hear it, check your hearing aid batteries.

I don't have any issues with mine, I hear it fine, but I'm not expecting super quality sound running down the highway with wind noise and my pipes.

I do have lowers, a kury tree deflector and the crash bar mounted deflectors. I also switch up my shield to a KW 12 touring shield for long trips. in stock form, I did have some trouble hearing it at highway speeds, but what can you expect with little wind protection.

Before I bought my 15 RGS a riding buddy had purchased one months earlier. He had the stock system in his and said at 65 plus he was not able to hear the music. When I bought mine I had them do the Stage II upgrade. It's an amp and different speakers I do believe. Big difference. The speakers are better and can handle the higher volume and still sound good. I wear a full face and with the visor close it does muffle it. I generally ride with it open a little, fresh air, and am able to hear the music at 80 mph. I still have the stock windshield on her, but I am only 5'8".
Hope that helps

Well I took off some time today & went for a ride once more at the dealer. I think it has 90% to do with the windscreen more than anything else. Plus I just might be expecting too much from the system. oh-well.

My other bike was a batwing and I'm still not 100% on going to a RG, still waiting for the dealers meeting before I finally make my choice.

I never had a bike with cruise control or a sound system before my TRXS.
It exceeded my expectations.

I wear earplugs and a full face helmet. Can't hear it above 60mph, with it all the way up. Kind of useless feature to me.

I don't know why you have to up grade anything in the sound system on a bike that cost as much as it does. jmo

I can live with or without tunes, so I'm probably not that fussy. I fixed my RGS sound system problem with a taller windshield than the stock one that came on the bike.
