Default LED Fog Lights Any Good?

I have seen a few have put on the LED fog lights and reviewed the instillation and price....But do that work well? I do ride after dark a lot and am looking at them. In the end the price is not that bad. PIAA and others are almost as much and do look as good or install as clean and easy.

I have tthe HD ones. I hooked them up to come on with the spots. Not as bright as my spots with the cryin led bulbs ...but they are ok...and add more light up front to be seen. Although not a bright as I though they'd be... I'd still buy them again.

Edit: They are a very good quality construction. Much better than anything I've gotten 3rd party. That's them on the crash bars in the photo.

yes they are.... I've had them about a month and I love them, much better visibility to the sides of the road at night to see the critters.

There are bunches and bunches of LED spotlight options. Some better than others. But almost ANY replacement LED bulb will be better than the 27 watt joke that cones stock. I am running the JDM ASTAR bulbs. It's o.k. at best. Paid $30 delivered from Amazon. To me it was wasted money cause, though better than stock, not good enough. OPT7 sells a set that's about twice that price that also just drops in the stock housing. Its a good option, but at that price your almost at complete LED replacement spots. I have seen many of those first hand. As posted, the complete sealed LED units throw amazing light and are a very worthwhile upgrade for us night riders.

I bought an LED kit from Paradise Lights LLC for my '06 Ultra and they are fantastic. $125 shipped, if you have an older bike like I do they are well worth the money

I installed some cheap eBay led fog lights on the engine guard, best thing I ever did. They are amazing and only cost about $45 plus mounts.

No, I'm talking about the Harley crash bar mounted ones.

The HD Reflector LED Fogs work really well, they throw a wide horizontal swath wherever you aim them at, you can aim them a little high but not high enough to blind oncoming traffic. I only have one gripe with mine, the LED color is a tad warmer than the rest of the LEDs I have installed (all Daymaker Ref LED) but from what I've heard it's just mine, I haven't heard any others complain about it. I may try replacing them. But all in all they light it up good, especially the dark spots off to the sides.
