I was told the same by V&H but it is nice to have real world facts to back it up and not just the "sales pitch" from the factory. It is also nice to know that what V&H says is true and backed up by a neutral dyno test.

I agree some guys like the look of the true duels and some like the look of the power duals better. I have the power duals and monster rounds on my 11 SG and I love the sound it puts out with my procharger.

A true 2-1 (like the pro pipe) will give you the most power but again not everyone likes the look of a 2-1 on a bagger.

I don't care that it has a few ft lb's less than it could be with other pipes.

When a bike is tuned well, can you really tell the difference between 100 ft lb's and 95 ft lb's?
I currently have a Supertrapp 2-into-1 on my bike, previously ran TDs and had the bike dynoed by the same shop with both systems. The headline numbers for both were almost the same, however the TDs were more like 15 ft lbs lower, in the rev range most of ride in. That is definitely noticable!

The main difference I found is how much smoother running and down-right nicer my bike is with the 2-into-1. The improved torque is well worthwhile, but the icing and cherry on the cake is how much better it is to ride.

So in my experience there is more to this than just numbers!

So has anyone put TDs on an 88 and ran the dyno twice. Once with and once without to see the real difference? I was thinking of going with the True duals kit from FulSac. Just the j pipe, and extention pipe. Their kits seems simple enough and the price makes more sence. Has any one ever tried this? Assuming I do that is.
