Default Bell 500 in rain?

Anybody use a Bell 500 with a shield in the rain?
Does it work very well?
Im not talking about getting caught in a shower on a bar hop but multi day all day rain.
I have a 500 and like the helmet but usually take my Shoei FF on trips in case of rain but would like to stop carrying so much.

I have a bell 500 that is my go to helmet also. I use a bubble shield and added weather stripping foam around the edge of the shield where it makes contact with the helmet. This worked 100% perfect on a trip from ohio to the dragon last month where it rained very heavy the entire way. With out the foam you will get wet inside the helmet on a heavy rain. Foam is a must.
