Power Vision PV-2 Map Questions
#11
Semiret,
I just saw your reply about doing shorter autotune runs.
I did an autotune run Sunday for about 50 miles. I did a mix of rural cruising, small town red-light stop-n-go and interstate, trying to cover as many bases as possible. After the autotune run, the VE table on the PV-2 screen was well-populated in the RPM ranges I customarily ride. All cells showed 'hits' in those RPM ranges...in other words, there were no non-hits in the RPM range that I was riding.
I'm certainly no expert at this. I flashed the autotune changes to the ECM, and rode another 20 miles. The bike rode well...very responsive, and no misses or decel pops.
This was a 'stock modified' map/tune from Dynojet. It's temporary until I get the new exhaust, and a corresponding new map. I will then autotune the new map. I'll try the shorter autotune runs as you suggest.
Thanks again...
