Default bye bye road glide

Just sealed the deal on a `16 Street Glide. Tried the `16 Road Glide and didn`t like it. Felt like a couple bowling ***** were in front. Anybody else relate to this?

Not even a little bit. I traded my 08 SG for an 11 RGU last July. Loved it so much I just traded it for a 16 RGS. Love my shark more than the SG.

Congrats on the new bike.

I love my 16 RGS, I had to play with the vents a little and change the windshield but once I got the set up right I love it. I will say at first I didn't like it at all but once I tweaked on her a little she is perfect now. Good luck with the Street Glide, its a great bike also.

Same here @RFG. Rode a 15 SG over half of CA last year - while it was good back then (my first ride on a fairing bagger) I didn't like the weight on the forks and LOVE how the RG doesn't have that and handles so much nicer. But as always: it's a matter of preference. Guess why MoCo has so many different models! :-)

I never could get used to all the mass in front. Not too mention, in AZ sun, you can't see the radio. I love my Ultra...

Traded my 14 street glide special for a 16 rgs about about a week before Americade 2016. I have like 4K on her now and enjoyed every mile on it. At first I thought to myself " what if I made a mistake trading". I just was working on my partners ultra the other day looking for a electrical short. I took the ultra for a few rides throughout the day, and glad I switched to a RGS. What I really like about my rgs is that she is much more stable at all speeds and is a hell of a lot stabler at 90 plus mph. Second I like the extra room on the RG instead of the fairing being rite in my face. Most importantly they are both great bikes while I thought I would have my 14 street glide special forever, but got an amazing offer of it and an even better deal on the 16rgs. Either way good luck with the new ride you can't go wrong with either one of them.

I don't even know what this means....

I've had two Batwings and won't go back. The Roadie is a far superior bike for me.

Bowling *****? Was that just a 2016 option?

Had a Honda with an old Vetter Windjammer mounted up high on spaghetti tubes. Not only did I have bowling *****, but they could roll around!
