HD Map for decatted pipe

Tech at the dealer I use most stated a reflash on my 2012 is unnecessary unless you do extensive work to engine, so long as you do not just go out to see how hard you can drive it the ECM will self learn and adjust the AFR to what is needed based upon the sensors on the engine over the course of a short period of riding. I had a St. 1 added when I changed Air Cleaners and installed a decatted head pipe, he showed me the settings then showed me the same diagnostics review at the next service, numbers had all changed due to ECM self learn, Not a issue.

I would call Fuel Moto, personally I think you should consider the Micro Tuner.
Its affordable, and you get lifetime map support.

It's about the same cost of a dealer download and will have a better tune.
The debate will rage over whether any tune is "needed" for a Stage I, but I would even tune an OEM bike. The EPA tunes and HD downloads (also EPA compliant) are lean.....
The ECM will make changes within a given range, but once you add more air than OEM, you can easily hit parameters that the ECM will not be able to correctly adjust for (ie: long hills, any high load situation, altitude riding, "spirited" runs, etc). Yeah, if you cruise low rpm, at sea level, and on flat ground you'll be fine without a change...
I'd opt for a new tune or the micro tuner as mentioned above. It's a low cost way to make your engine happy and running better!.... Your call...
Good luck and enjoy the new bike!

That is a screamin deal, I think you'll be happy with it.
[edit] - just went to the page - I thought it was $50 off from $199 - they've pretty much always sold it for $199, but still I think a very affordable, flexible solution.

I think its nuts to disconnect the O2 sensors on a modern bike and replace it with a cheap fuel processor like the Micro Tuner. Its almost like going back to a carburetor.
Dont misunderstand me, if your setting up a bike properly for ultimate performance and dyno tuning at same altitude, that is fine chances are you would be using a better processor then the micro, but to disconnect O2 sensors and put a fixed map in there, why?

But just so you know, they dont make SERT anymore, and if you went to a dyno guy with this they will hate you. I was in for a dyno a couple of years ago and the guy before me gets on the dyno, and Bob (RC Cycles) asked what tuner did he have. Guy said SERT and Bob had to build a file from scratch to be able to tune him, thats when he told me no one uses that anymore. I think the better replacement if youre going to stick with HD stuff is a TTS Mastertune (same author as the SERT, SEPST).
Im on the fence about installing my FM headpipe but dont want to have to go thru any tuning issues at this point. Its a 110 and rocks pretty well for me and thats after coming from a stage 4 103.
Im not sold on you dont need a tune after de-catting, as others have said even a stock bike needs a good tune, and I will agree with that.
