i've tried ultimate and mustang tour and both have left me having a pain in the butt. i went with day long but it doesn't get you closer to the ground but i can ride all day on it with no pain. good luck with your search. hope you get it right the first time cause $$ can add up if you can't find the right one.

 

I just went to Le Pera RT66. Had Mustang Super tour before. The Le pera sits lower than the Mustang. Feels like you are down in it. It is firm, but not as firm as Corbins I have sat on. Haven't been on any long trips, but have been on day rides that were 3-400 miles long and feels much better. Wifey hasn't chewed on my ear either so bonus.

 

Ran a H-D touring seat until this year when I started squirming after a few hours in the saddle. Installed a Rush "Cycle-Pedic" two up seat a couple months ago & just did two long hauls (600 miles) on it with no problems. I like it.
