Hello, Short of asking the previous owner it is tough. I found out the hard way which was, I was unable to program my new FP3 set up because my ECM was locked out. Unless you have access to a scan tool or want to bring it to an HD dealer to scan it. There are no outward appearance changes, it is all internal.

 

I too have spoken with Brian and found him quite informative. He answered my many questions and took my order for the PCV which will be installed this week. I plan on buying the Night Prowler cams once I have a few days of down time.
