I may be stupid, or possibly insane, lol.

After a long ride yesterday to and from erie's roar on the shore ( about 200 miles 1 way), my shoulder started to hurt even with the sock bars back on. Hurting in the same place it was with the apes. So who knows maybe I just hurt my shoulder and didn't realize it.

With that, I decided to just put them back on and will see how it goes. It only took me a couple hours to swap them back. Now that I have done this a few times, it's a lot quicker and easier to get them swapped.

We shall see how it goes. I'm going to run them out to at least the end of this season. If they are still bothersome, I may look for something different to put on over the winter.

Yep, I have a mustang riders backrest.

 

My apes made my shoulders feel a lot better, I have rotator cuff issues, poor circulation and arthritis.
