Checking Road King tire pressure (easy way)
Hey there all,
I'm new to this Road King thing and the spoke wheels. I have to say I like the look of them, but checking the tire pressure on the rear is next to impossible. Between the spokes, the saddle bags and guards, and the belt, there just isn't much room to put the pressure gauge. The valve not only isn't pointing out board, but it is sticking straight up and down in between the rows of spokes. Oh, that and I need to jack the bike up so I can spin the tire to put the valve at the bottom to get a halfway decent purchase on it.
Is there a way that works without letting 12 1/2 psi in the process?
As always, thanks for the help!!

I use one of these on the rear https://my-fobo.com/product/fobobike or, you can get them here https://www.amazon.com/FOBO-FB1574-B.../dp/B00YCAVGMK ....
I'm getting old, and it gets harder and harder to get up and down to check the rear tire.
I've had it on the rear wheel for about 3 months now, and no leak. And it's spot on to my digital gauge.

This forum never ceases to amaze. Thanks for all the responses so far...
This looks like a winner. Simple, easy to use. Problem still remains getting in there, but I think that may be inevitable.
I like this thing because I'm a gadget geek. The problem I see is getting in there to add air, you still need some sort of extension. Not to mention the price...
I like this as well but I've read some reviews of these cutting the rubber on the valve stems causing flats. What's that all about??

Go to Wally and buy a 12v compressor with a 90 degree clamp on air chuck and built in gauge. Clip it on, fill until gauge reads correct, clip it off, done. $20. There is another post: Buy a new manual plunger type bicycle pump with a 90 degree clip on air chuck. Cut the hose off and throw pump away. Install a long tire valve to open end of cut hose with a small hose clamp, after cutting rubber off tire valve. You now have a 90 degree clip on remote valve extension for your saddle bag. Estimate $15
